About Zach Matheny

I have spent much of my life surrounded by sports and fitness, having played collegiate soccer here locally at Capital University. After suffering a blood clot, I took a step back from soccer and re-focused his efforts towards my over-all health. During that time he became a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and started Training With Zach in the Spring of 2019.
Over the past few years I have competed in powerlifting and compiled some best lifter awards and junior state records in Ohio. With 15+ powerlifting meets and 3 bodybuilding shows under my belt, competition has always been a driving force in my life.
My recent life event was tearing my bicep in the fall of 2022. This sent me on a path of learning to recover optimally for my training.
These unique experiences have brought Zach a vast amount of knowledge from varying corners of fitness.
